Herbion's research and development division is well equipped with modern facilities including laboratory scale machines and quality control equipments. It is capable of preparing all dosage forms including syrups, capsules, tablets, ointments and granules. New formulations are developed after a careful study of ingredients conducted by qualified experts after going through various pharmacopeias and authentic reference books and consultations with leading scientists working in various renowned scientific research institutes like HEJ research institute, PCSIR, Hamdard University etc. Pilot batches are then manufactured in our well established and modern product development department. After conducting meticulously designed in house testing procedures, the products are sent for toxicological studies on animals to reputed scientific institutions. After satisfactory results are obtained, clinical trials are arranged in different medical institutions. Subsequently, positive feedback from clinical trials would lead to the products being finally recommended for commercial production and then to post marketing clinical trials in different countries.
