The Herbion Family is established with an objective of providing quality and natural herbal medicines and dietary supplements all around the world under its own brand name. For achieving the said purpose, the set up of the Herbion family was started when Mr. Nadeem Khalid and Mr. Khurram Khalid incorporated a fully owned Company with the name of Bellingham Holdings LLC (BHL) in the District of Columbia, Washington D.C. on January 18, 2000 with a capital of USD 440,000/- and the equity being shared equally between them. The BHL on August 13, 2001 make its investment in Herbion Pakistan (Private) Limited (HPPL), Karachi, Pakistan, The managing Board of the Herbion Group then decided to export and market their products initially to Common wealth Independent States (CIS) and the Central Asian States due to their relative prior years’ experience in those states and afterward to other parts of the world. The managing board at that time also decided that the brand name, which they will promote in future would be “HERBION”.

In order to curb the practical difficulties in marketing and promoting the medicines in the most difficult economy and market of the world i.e. the CIS and the Central Asian States, the Managing Board of Herbion decided to venture this task by opening their own new offices in respective countries. One after the other, by mean of strategic planning and with an objective in mind to grow the Herbion family as a Multinational Company, the group expands from Moscow (Russian Federation) to Almaty (Kazakhstan) by opening five different offices in different countries and with a common name of “PHARMACIA UNIVERSAL LLC” (PU). The name of PU was decided due to taking over of some of the chain pharmacies with the same name in certain CIS states.

After realizing in the year 2002 that for promoting the products in certain Central Asian countries and CIS and further to avoid trademark related issues in those countries, the managing Board then decided to establish another brand name of “HERBAL AGE”. For achieving the said purpose, Mr. Nadeem Khalid and Mr. Khurram Khalid incorporated a new Company with the name of Herbal age (Privat its operations as being a trading Company and for the purpose of exporting Herbion’s product under the brand name of Herbalage to avoid registration of trademark and registration of products with Ministry of Health of respective countries.
In order to give a corporate image to the Herbion Group, the managing board incorporated Herbion International Inc. on June 12, 2003 in Nassau, Bahamas. The purpose of incorporating Herbion International Inc. is to make it as a parent Company and all other group companies being its subsidiaries / associated companies or related parties in recent future. As the Company is being recently incorporated and the related business operating transactions like opening of bank accounts etc. is still under process and it is yet to commence its commercial operations.
